Glow plug light no coming on...

That relay mod will cycle the OPS without the need of oil pressure right?

I'm about 98% sure I'm taking air between the tank and the LP so that's why the auxiliary tank sounds good about now. Specially since my driveway is a mud bog right about now too!! LOL

Update... I replaced the GP controller and I'm getting my Glow Plug light again. And it started frying the GP wire between #1 and #3 cylinder. So now time for a glow plug harness. Wasn't it LeRoy that had some available? I can't find any on his site.

I want to see if the controller is getting power when I turn the key on... Which wire do I need to probe?

For future its the pink/black wire.

Im having GP relay problems also. I have two here that Ive tried, surely both arent bad? (and don't call me Shurly)

I noticed it has power at all times when the key is on. So that means the cycling of the glow plugs is done inside the controller. I thought it was only a solenoid and the cycling was done by either the ECM or a relay. Learned something new. :)

It is just a relay. The control is from the ECM. Pink/black wire is hot when key is on, ECM cycles power as needed to yellow wire, black is ground. This applies to 1994 and assume thu 2000. Im not sure why pink/black wire is even there?
1993 & back is controlled by the glow plug relay.

Ok, I had only probed the one wire. I get it now.
