glow plug controller ?

Does anyone know which wire coming from the PCM is the right one to splice into to do a manual override? Can't find a diagram in my 4 volume FSM. Testing it with my meter it appears to be the center yellow wire. The other 2 appear to be power and ground. Really don't want to cut the wrong wire. TIA

Can you just go from A power source to the side of the glow plug controller that the glow plug wires attach to?

That is what I always envisioned for an over ride. Fuse, toggle or momentary and then attach the glow plug wire side of the glow plug controller with a 5/16 eyelet

Wouldn't hooking up on the outbound side of the controller do the same thing? You would probably want a relay after the switch either way?

I did it that way on mine also. Uses the stock relay setup. Essentially just a manual override of the stocak glowplug relay, with the diode to prevent backfeeding ECM.

Separate parallel solenoid & manual switch for redundancy. Also using it with the factory controller splits current drawn between 2 sets of contacts.
