I had an older thread titled "what changed" but after a week of heavy towing i think i should have changed it to "what didn't change".

First off my exhaust temps are much lower under load, like 2-3 hundred degrees. The engine doesn't get to 210 as fast as it used to as well. I can keep my speed over hills now without much issue.

Second is a faster shift into high gear which is really nice, you can feel it utilize the torque much better. so there is better acceleration with a trailer.

Third I would have never been able to do this hehehehehehe, lets see if i can get a picture up

Here it is, Hauled it through West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and into Michigan. Through the smoky mountains. Best i can figure is the trailer weighed 13k and it made it over every mountain without stopping including the 5 miles of 5% grade :D

You'd love it man!!! The dually.... then you'd always have a spare too if you kept your other ride, and spare parts.

From what i've read on the ATT you're a prime canditate to reap its benefits, highway power, towing efficiency, mileage gains.

So after a little more usage you seem to have 'changed your tune' lol :) about the GLE.

You happy camper it sounds.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't say there is much more power but i have allot more of what i had available due too lower exhaust and engine temps.

It may have been, not 100% sure where it was. been doing more towing since and i just turned up the tm up to 14-15psi and that made another huge diffrence on egt's.
