Just Finished putting in some LED Turn Signal Bulbs in my Truck...THE RIGHT WAY.

I have no "Blinkers On Crack" Fast Flashing...and Used NO Resistors or Caps to do it.

I got the OEM GM Flasher Module for Chassis Cab Trucks that have LED Tail Lights. You still Maintain the Slow Flash Rate, while still being able to Run LED's the Whole Way Around.

I now have LED Tails, DRL's, Turn Signals / Markers, Dome / Door Lights. HID Low's / Fogs.

The LED's I put in my Marker Lights are Dual Color. They are Super White on the Running Function, then the White Turns Off, and the Amber comes On and Flashes. It's pretty Cool.

Here's how they Look:

Very nice, gotta love the LEDs. The dual color ones aren't my style (I love that nice deep amber up front) but still looks good.

So, what's the part number for this flasher? Never thought about chassis cab trucks having LED tails...... Hum.

You are my hero madmaxx, lol. I thought replacing the taillights on my trailer with LED's was cool, but this is awesome. It'd amazing how much brighter the LEDs are. If someone can't see these bad boys they are blind.

I still need to swap out my cab lights to finish off my LED's all around. I used a standard 2 prong universal flasher from AUTOZONE that is a digital without the lamp outage warning in it and it works fine.

Yea, our Trucks use that Giant Flasher above. It's like the Size of 2 1/2 or 3 normal Flashers.

You know there are factory GM LEDs for your cab lights? They came on the newer Kodiaks...there is an RPO for them and everything.

I'd have to see it in person to see if they're really as bright or brighter than the standards 2 dollar bulbs or not.

BTW, thanks for the nightwawks. They're in and running full speed with my harness. They do work well and do provide some decent light. Thanks again.

Nice, good to Hear. I got your Text, but it was the 4th Weekend up here, and I was on the Move like Crazy for a few Days.

Were they a good Improvement over the Bulbs they Replaced?

Well, hard to tell right off the bat. I do work some dark roads and zipping down them at 100 is pretty normal getting from point A to B.

The high beams are pretty good. I always thought that the regular bulbs (with the harness) had pretty good high beams anyways. It seems that the color is a bit whiter and not so yellowed like the regular bulbs. On dark roads with no lights, the low beams are definitely better. In fact, I was noticing this last night that the low beams are lighting up quite a bit more than before. The high beams light up an entire mile in front of the car, which is cool. I wondered about a mod that allows both filaments to be lit at the same time when the high beams are in use but that would probably overheat the relay or the bulb itself.

It's not a night and day difference but there is a subtle difference. The lights seem not necessarily brighter but the beam definitely travels farther than before. I didn't notice it the first night but after about 800 miles on it, there is a difference.

Now I just gotta find a tune that'll work. Predators are not designed for Fords.

Atleast it's better than what you had though.

If you Hold the Stalk Back, it'll keep the Lows On with the Highs. But you prob. know that already.

Yeah but it'll cut itself off after 30 seconds or so. I think the relays get hot and automatically shut it off to prevent it from melting. I rarely use it. I have a hard enough time not blowing tires, (blew my 4th one last night) let alone losing my lights out in BFE at midnight. These bulbs aren't exactly easy to get to to change them out. Ford required a masters degree to change them within 30 minutes.

Damn, that's crazy. Maybe it's some kind of Safety thing Built Into yours. I've never Heard of that Happening before.

If I go with them, I want just the standard stuff... no fancy 2 tone crap. 2 amber, 2 red, maybe something in the DRL Section....I heard that this voltage is pulsed. I have tried to use LED's before in the DRL's without any success. LED's burn out within a couple of months.

It's not Pulsed, it's Stepped. That's why I kept Blowing the Full LED Housings I used to have.

It's because of the Grid Heater. You gotta Disable it, then when you Start the Truck, the Voltage goes right up to 14v instead of Sitting LOW for a while, then Slowly making it's way up to 14v.
