How Long would you Wait before you got Diesel from a Brand New Station that just Opened?

A Hess just Opened about 150 Yards from my House, so it's Convenient to get Fuel there now.

But since it just Opened, should I Wait to get Fuel there incase there is any Crap in the Tanks or Lines, or should I not Worry?

Everything is Brand New.

I would probably wait, but that's just me and my paranoia. I hate getting fuel from any other station aside from the one I go to all the time. Another thing to consider and watch is how much diesel they go through. The more they go through the better.

Do you know if they filter the fuel on the way out of the pump?

Yea, I'm Paranoid about it too. I only get Fuel at 1 Station unless it's an Emergency, and I've never had a Problem with it.

There's a Ford Dealer right Across the Street, so they'll Move Fuel pretty Fast, because when the Old Station was there, Years Ago, the Dealer Used them for all their Fueling Needs, so I'm sure they'll do the same with Hess now.

Dunno if they Filter it.

I have bought fuel from a Hess several times. Matter of fact it is the one across from the Chevy dealership, where I bought my truck. They fuel their trucks there when they need fuel in them. Hess is always cheaper than the rest of the stations in the area. So far I have never had any problems with Hess fuel. Since that one is new I think i would a little while and let some other guys get the new out of that place.

The new pumps must have new filters in place. They should catch all of the crap in the fuel if there is any. I know they flush the tanks when new to check for leaks. I saw a new station built from the ground up, and I worked many traffic details during the construction phase. They fill the tanks with water and then pump it out back into tanker trucks. A week or so and you should be all set!

Just for the record, I always have good luck with HESS too. No problems at all.

Id wait until they turned the "open" sign on and started talking money :D
