What size speakers fit in the doors on these trucks? Got an '04 crew cab with the non-bose non-lux stereo; separate speaker/tweeters in the doors.

What size speakers are these??

Crutchfield says the front and rear door speakers are 6.75" whereas there is not direct replacement for the tweeter. They've got an "outfit my car" audio component selector tool, here.

I'm headed that direction myself here in a bit...been looking all over for those speaks. Ones with a good bottom end are hard to find.

Saw that 6.75" on crutchfield but they also showed 6.5 and 5.25 for some reason; must need spacers for those or something.

How does the wiring work on door speakers...do you need an adapter, or make your own?
If found some Kicker speakers that look really good and they're much Cheaper than from Crutchfield, but the wiring is a question for me.

You can just Cut off the OEM Plug at the End and Crimp on some Connectors, or if you don't wanna do that, you can Order the Speakers, then Check installer.com and see if they got the Speaker Adapters for ya.

Yup - 6.5's worked front and back for my crew also. The back doors don't push much sound compared to the fronts, so I figured out a way to sneak a rear deck in there for when the rear seats are down (most of the time).
Those speaks are on order...:D
