front doors

Hi all,

do you know if front doors from a single cab, or an X-cab, or a crew cab, and even from a tahoe or Suburban do interchange? Year range is 1996-1999.

To the best of my knowlage. Yes. I have doors from all the above, and by eye they all look the same. Hinges, latches, etc.

88-2000 front's are the same except for door trim panel & mirror.

93GMC-93Chevy I found that the door edge by the windshield has a gap the entire length of the windshield. Course this is 'totaled' to 'salvage' swap so all bets are off.

Ive noticed that the 88-94 doors are indeed different from the 95-00' doors in regards to the interior side.

The interior pannels are obviously different, but even the interior door shell is different as well.

Meaning, one can not mount 95-00' interior pannels on a door from 88-94.

Good point. I have used doors of different styles. It worked but I has to cut some metal for it to work.
