Flow Cooler Opinions Needed.

That last posting would also depend if the backing plate will match the flow cooler pump without having to do any drilling, grinding etc.
If work would be required to get it to fit, then I will contact flow cooler and see about a refund.

Stainless 300 series is great, about 4 times better than mild steel. The 400 series is about 3 times better.
But $$.

The best coating I know of for cavitation is Belzona 2141 but I am not sure aout doing it as thin as needed for this use. It is normally industrial use so much bigger pumps and such which have more clearance. I don’t know if @Twisted Steel Performance has info on one from techline that would be more appropriate. The belzona works because it is not a super hard coating but has some give to it and it absorbs the shockwave.

Short of these, just metal with a good epoxy paint does ok. If ya do get a price on stainless ones, ask them how many need ordered to get better pricing and maybe some of us could jump in get one to make it better?

I am convinced flow kooler just added the 6.5 to a long list of engines they make pumps for and have no actual research on the 6.5 let alone good enough quality control to have their casting fit anywhere near as good as the AC Delco. Someone that knows to combine pictures- do a side by side of the delco and the flow kooler pics I posted- it’s horrific fitment.

I will now be moving the orficed by pass fitting to the pump.
Got the RR head temp sender wired and strung into the cab. Inner fender back in place and inspecting battery cables, the battery grounding cable on the right side is corroded all to crap.
Went to NAPA and they didnt have one close enough so they are going to make one up and deliver for Me.
He wrote down numbers for a couple other items I picked up and said He would just put that onto the ticket with the cable that they will be bringing over.
Now thats service. Oriellys delivers to My place too. CQ used to deliver until that counter parts guy pissed me off.

Okay, getting things back together. Pulled the bypass hose and the orficed fitting I had installed onto the pump instead of the crossoverDD285209-E4C1-4948-81F9-61D901DB8DE6.jpeg.
Then I remembered, the fitting in the crossover was seized in and I didnt want to bust components trying to remove it.
