FINALLY! LED's That Are Brighter Than Halogens!!

Yep, you Read it right.

Here they are in my DRL's.

1st Pic is the New ones (Only 20 M-SMT LED's) on the Right, Old ones (60 SMT LED's on 1 Bulb) on the Left. 2nd Pic is 35w Modded 3157 Halogen on the Left and New LED's (Only 20 High M-SMT LED's) on the Right.

50 bucks for lights...Hell, thats a cheap set of HID's...

Can you get a more clear picture? The spread pattern of the light would be cool too inside the housing. Does it make use of the mirror lenses?

Yea, when it gets Dark out, I'm gonna take Pics with my real Camera.

Yea, it makes the Reflector look really Cool. Little Dots all over it from the LED's, looks like a Star Burst.

I also put some in my Reverse Lights too. They look like HID's.

Either will work. They sent 3157's anyways.

Any 3157/4157/3156 will work fine.

K, here we go with some Night Shots.

1. Reverse Lights Dimmed with Camera
2. Reverse Lights at Normal Output

As you can see, they are an HID 6k Color. Reverse Fogs on Bumper are supposed to be "Super White".

4. Output Shot at Normal Brightness, but it really is ALOT Brighter in Person.

1. Philips all OEM Components 4300k HID Kit in Low Beams and the Kits I sell here Locally in the Fogs which are 4300k as well. Notice the Color Difference between OEM and "Kit" Bulbs?

...well these didn't last long. They DEF. are NOT made for Constant On Apps.

I went to the Post Office before and when I got Home, I put on the E-Brake and left it in Drive so I could see how the LED's looked.

Well I get to the Front of the Truck and there they are, both Strobing away.

So I take 'em out, and they are both Hot as Hell, and inside my Housings is all Fogged up and Hazy, and has the Hot Electrical Smell to it.

So I pull them out, and put in my old Silverstar Orange Bulbs.

So all-in-all, yea these things are dumb Bright, but not for Constant On Apps. They would be good for Reverse Lights though.

Looks like I'll be getting those New LED Housings sooner than I though.

It might just be me but I have the 4114 60 SMT LED driving lights and I SWEAR they are brighter than the ones you had previously. Any chance they made a little change?
