Just can't beat a D-Max Blade......Can you tell I that I highly recommend it? :hihi:;).....But now after hearing about the 23" Humvee Blade....There might be a new Sheriff in town...:agreed:

Yep. And I wasn't having any cooling problems with the '99. I just wanted the incremental benefit. I saw that 23" Humvee fan and wondered, but that would involve a complete rework of the fan shroud. I'm sure some McGiver here will do it.:rolleyes5::hihi:

I kept the same fan clutch as it looks like the Hayden 2843. I can always go to the 2886 later. The 2886 had the same parameters/specs as the 2843, just 50% more cooling area. Not sure what that means? Does it mean that the fan clutch shuts off quicker because it cools quicker? If so, that is not what I want. Just things for the techs to ponder.:???::hihi:

I don't think you'd get a 23 inch on there easily. I just had to do a trim on my Burb for the 21 and there sure wasn't 1 1/2 inches more meat there to take off.

You'd need a serious shroud modification....But we've tackled much more involved issues than that....But just think of all that air flow on the stack.

Heck, you "might" even be able to run a cone filter without the ill effect of those high under hood temps.....I figure you can never have enough flow.......You'd need to run 195* degree stats for sure....Who knows?
