My truck's fog light shot a couple of days ago, I had to fix it ASAP as nothing looking worse than a truck with a light shot..

$40 later it's fixed.. :mad2: I almost flipped out when he told me how much..

That blows, $40 for just the lens?

I've been looking at these, supposedly a direct replacement for the factory housings instead of going with a 9005 hid kit.

40 for just the 5202 bulb..

I want the whiteness of the HID's but I'm not going to put them in my truck. I really want a direct replacement for mine, Amazon has the Phillips UltraVision for good prices, but I'm still hesitant to try them.

Rigid Lighting makes real nice LED's but $$$$$, it would be interesting to see how those you posted compare though.

Shew. Why couldn't they use a normal bulb?

Same here, Jeff. I want the white light but not the HID look... the Rigid D series driving lights aren't that much more than the Recons and I found Rigid mounting brackets on another site that supposedly work with the 11-up super duties. Not serious at this point, but if I do it, I don't want it to be a hack job with deck screws and tape holding everything together.

:D Not oncoming traffic friendly.

H16 goes in the 5202 Spot.

Putco and a few other Companies have Replacement Halogen Bulbs now inna few different Colors.

Gotta make you feel good that you can get a Complete HID Kit for LESS than 1 Halogen Bulb these Days, doesn't it? :)

dont put the LEDs off ebay in ,the white ones are bluesh looking and a candle would look better/their dim
