F Code Intake Gasket Question

Hey all,

It appears that the only gasket available for the F code engines is the GM# 12531704 which appears to have the cutout for the EGR passage used on S code setups.

I assume its OK to use this gasket on F codes, as the blanked off area where the EGR would be can block the exhaust perfectly fine? (I think this is what I did when I had the intake off the 93)

I thought they still sold gaskets that were sealed in that area, as IIRC this is how some folks disabled EGR on a S code (gasket only, leave the S code lower) but I could be wrong.

So does GM just offer this gasket only, and its supposed to cover F and S applications?

Any info appreciated,
Thanks!

The Felpro gaskets I used had the EGR passage, and I am running a non-EGR "F" intake, -no issues whatsoever..
