EXHAUST ON MY 2000 K3500

I forget everyone doesn't enjoy the simplicity of the DB2! :D

I wish I could enjoy the simplicity of the DB2.

I don't have a clue how many miles or how long the ip that's on my truck now has been on it. I've got a 95 k3500 duelly parts truck with a good engine with a ds4 pump that doesn't have but about 4000 miles on it before the guy wrecked the truck. Once my ip goes out, I'll put the spare ip I have on it. Once that ones goes, I'm going to swap to the db2 and start enjoying the simplicity

Yeah 8 lbs not going to do much for you with the stock turbo, I'll bet with a reflash you'll see a difference. Making me like the DB2 more, I never dealt with this in this manner. I just adjusted IP and boost till it worked right.

Yeah, crank the nut on you turbomaster. The tune will help. Above 1250 (measured in the crosspipe) and it gets hard to not have ect climb. An innercooler starts to help alot there. Wmi even more.

The GMx turbos push egt up quicker and cause more IAT starting the overheating cycle sooner than a properly sized turbo would. They are just too restrictive.

Yes. A tune would help with the fuel problem. I would tell them you are sticking with the gm8 until you can get an upgrade and see what they could help you with. I would think that if you got a tune now for the current setup you have with the gm8 and then down the road upgraded to the ATT, they may not charge as much just to re flash for the new setup since you have already been a customer and they have already been in the pcm one time.
I will check with them on the tune. I guess leroys would be the go to place for that.
I was in Billings today, stopped at radio shack, tried to get a variable resistor in the 10 ohm range, non available, I did get a card of ten ohm resistors and may try putting one of those in the boost sensor wire.
I will wait though until after I have talked to Leroys.
