East Coast 6.5 guys! Get Together?

With all the great stuff going on around the Truck stop these days, a few of us have had hopes of getting a "6.5 Get Together" going on as a real kick off the new year(among other things:thumbsup

Out of sheer curiosity, how many people on the East Coast area,(CT, NJ, NY, DE, PA, VT and so on) would be interested in something like this? Obviously anybody from any state would be welcome if you want!

Lets say for location and center that the meet would take place somewhere in New York. I know we have a lot of NY and CT guys. As well as a few up North and down south from there.


Who's up for it? Maybe happen sometime in the next few weeks? Post what might be a good date for you as well.

But when I get my ass in gear and get the '93 rollin' again, it will have to happen.

The past few years I've attended the 'Carlisle All Truck Nationals' in Carlisle, PA... It ususally happens early autumn. All kinds of trucks. Beautiful.

Maybe a MEET there? Who knows?

Why should THAT be? I think anybody who can hold a wrench, a flashlight, a beer, or a greasy rag should qualify.

Truck GTGs are truck GTGs... besides, once you DMax guys see our sweet 6.5s, you'll want to join the club!

Does anyone have suggestions on a location perhaps? Somewhere focused on either NY or PA. Anybody know of a good Bar and grill in some of those area's? Ones that will actually fit numerous people in big barreling trucks?

HeHeHe, well Long Island would definitely get my vote, however based on all my off island friends complete inability to come visit me here not so sure if people would go the extra mile of crossing the city/bridges or catching the ferry etc. However don't let that stop you from picking it as a venue.

Seems to me that NJ or lower NY would be the most central for a Northern East Coast meet
