DYNO NUMBERS & Automatic Transmission

Now I know what I'm going to do! I'm going to start my pull with the converter unlocked, so it looks like I have really awesome low end torque, then at about 3k, I'll hit the manual lockup switch, so I can get good high rpm readings! :D

Did a run yesterday (12 October 2015) using a recent ATT tune from Kojo using Slim's fuel curves.

Graph was all over the place due to the 4L80E. Tech's impression was 245 hp and 394 tq (at the wheels).

At first the shop did not want to do the pull due to fears of smoking out the bays, but decided to do it anyway and learned that there are in fact some diesel owners who work on *not* smoking. By the time the pulls were done, the only smell was rubber from where his hose burnt on my exhaust a bit.

Not to bad, pretty close to a stock LB7(they normally dyno around 230-240 and low 400's at the wheels).

As seen in my signature, I re-dynoed with the addition of Heath's tune, and gained 30/60 at the wheels for a total of 190/380. Will be interested to see how my truck does with the ATT and various tunes.
