haha... sorry guys, my stupidity... u guys are supposed to just read my mind c'mon! lol. alright its a 2002 gmc sierra 2500hd slt gasser....
 
2002....Hmm...By adding a relay but the electronics changed in 2003 and that seems to be what most of us are familiar with. I'm no help other than telling you to wire up a relay with a separate switch that runs independently.
 
haha finally did the signature thing! now everyone knows even with my stupidity... lol

On the '02, you can go to an Auto Parts Store, get 2 3157 Sockets.

Wire them in with the OEM Turn Signal Socket.

Then you'll have Dual Running Lights and Dual Turn Signals in the Front.
