I have the turbo drain back fitting from QuadStar Tuning.
I’m thinking before installing the flange/plate to the engine of drilling in the area of the red mark.

Taking a steel 1/2” NPT or even a 3/8” NPT pipe coupler and welding it on where I drilled.
In the future then, if a pro-Vent was ever needed there would be the fitting in place already for the drain back.
Is it Worth the effort is the question ? ? ? ? 😹

Bad Idea. Good way to experience a diesel engine runaway when the oil flows backwards from the drain into the intake! The turbo flows a lot of oil. Little intake vacuum and you have a flooded Pro-Vent...

Take an example from Cummins who uses a separate drain into the block/oil pan from the oil separator on top of the valve cover.
