Dmax Blazer..

I would be concerned with driveshaft angles. The Allison is one looooong transmission, and without a SYE on the transfer case I don't even know if double cardan joints at both ends of the rear driveline would be enough.

Neat project though.
 
I am considering something other than a 6.2 for my 84 Blazer

The Dmax would work fine in a Blazer with a 4L80 and the shaft angles would not become so much of an issue

I am looking at all options for the Old Blazer but the electronics could certainly be a nightmare.
