Hi All,
Just joined after perusing through multiple posts on the 6.5 TD where I could have sworn I was reading about our 1996 Suburban!!!

I have been armed with some great information and with a litttle break in the cold weather here in Philly I can start down the path.

Just replaced tank, fuel sender/pickup and back two fuel lines and now....??? stalling when cold. (Original problem,,rusted out line leaking turned into a complete rearsection rebuild of the fuel system!!! What an adventure that was!)

I love adventure.... just not in the cold winter time!!

First a new fuel filter, then check fuel flow from tee...maybe its the LP?? We will see.

I could not have gotten tnos far with these posts!

Thank you all.
Best,
Ted

Welcome to the site Ted, :fest30:

If you've been reading/lurking you see many Jurassic park dinosaur Diesel aficionados :grouphug:roaming around the site, those of us that still love em love a challenge or have a mental disorder we haven't quite defined that just yet :hihi: But you have found the correct hangout if you are so afflicted.

And always remember friends don't let friends take their 6.5s to the "Stealerships"
