Did A New DRL Mod On The Truck Today

No way, Mechman is the Best of the Best in terms of Alternators. If you need Power, get his Alternator, don't even consider anything or anyone else.

Even if he doesn't make a Direct Drop-In for your Vehicle, he'll Brew something up to make it Work and Fit like its OE.

They aren't Cheap, but Alternators are one of those things where you get what you Pay for.

I'm sure you've Heard of Iraggi Alternators. He used to be the best, now just about everyone that was running his Alternators are now Running a Mechman and are MUCH Happier that they Switched. Mechman Customer Service is Excellent as well.

Good to know James. Does it run hot, or get hot after running for a while? Is it better than the meangreen 200A alternators?

I haven't Noticed it running much Hotter than the OE one would with a Load on it.

It's better than a Mean Green. Don't get me wrong though, Mean Green is Good too, I have one on my Wrangler right now, and when I had all 11 of those Lights I used to have on it, I'd Hit the Main and they'd all come On at once, and you'd Hear the Idle of the Jeep Change a lil but the Voltage wouldn't Move.

So the Mean Green's are Good, but if you want something more Overbuilt than a Tank, get a Mechman.

OK just being stupid here again.
What if you put the full load on the alt, you could use it as an engine brake!:ban:

They show a 250A and a 370A alternator for the Elite Series. They are a little pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for. For the Elite series: 250A starting at $449 and 370A starting at $699. But they have a few different models. It looks like one would do best for a custom quote to get exactly what your looking for.

Yea, he's Expanded his Line alot in the past few Years. Back when I got mine, the 300a was the Biggest he Offered for our Trucks.
