It is required(In most states) that Motorcycles have the headlight on to distingush it from a car. The whole idea of DTRLs negates that and put's motorcycles in more danger.

all you have to do to disable them is slightly depress your parking brake so that the brake light in the dash comes on
The lights that should be banned are the HID lights that blind oncoming drivers.The daytime running lights produce very little glare.
:iagree:But i do agree that for the majority of the population, the car must think for them, or at least compensate for the inability to make decisions. Such as turning on your lights at dawn/dusk
Check the RPO codes in the glove box, T61 indicates your truck came equipped with DRL, T62 indicates DRL delete.
