CUCV to the rescue....

The little guy, Beagle mix. He was diagnosed with cancer today. He has days maybe weeks to live. I can't believe it. Why can't it be my mother in law instead
Well I won't be burying him after the cold snap were in for.

I lost "Roger" (Hound Lab mix) great pooch, a few years back, also from Cancer, after 13 years......I was creamate him too, and then I thought...forget that, he's better than somepeople I know, Needless to say, the vet thought I was crazy walking out with an 80 lb expired dog, to drive him 3 1/2 hrs upstate (Where I got him, from the pound) to bury him on a hill top overlooking a beautiful valley on my friends Grandfather's property.

When I got there Grandpa Joe had called his 3 grand kids (Strangers to me) to dig a 4-6 ft grave, so Iwouldn't have to break my a$$ doing it after a 3 1/2 hr drive.
Wrapped in his favorite blanket, in the earth he went, right next to Grandpa Joe's dog (Max) and he cryed with me as he helped me fill it in.

Some people arn't buried in such a beautiful place.
Boy I loved that Dog.

Sorry about your pooch Brother.

Well, couldn't even make it to Tractor Supply without the Lemon breaking down. Making a chirping sound out of the front end. I hate this Dodge so much I can't put it into words anymore. I need a tow vehichle for the camper. I wonder how a late 80's Burb with a 6.2 would tow it ? I would defintely need a BAnks. The Lemon is going on ebay as soon as I can fix it.

sorry to hear about your dog. the guy i board my horses with lost his oldest morgan mare the other winter to old age. he had the forsight in the fall that she might not make it and had a hole pre dug in the pasture near the pond not sure how he got it filled back in but he did it. cancer sucks iv lost two horses and a dog to it.

Well the CUCV comezs to the rescue again. Got the skidsteer stuck bad in the woods trying to get firewood. It's mud season.. Had to use the winch this time. it dragged it out. My welding job seems ok. I definitely put it to the test. That is a 12,000 lb winch. Gotta add a snatch block to my toolbox. Wifey had to get a crash course in skidsteer operation. Of course my 4 yr old saw all this and had to do his own version...

Nice recoveries! Nothing like being able to pull yourself out when you get stuck. And your a lucky man, very few woman would even try to learn how to drive a skid steer, let alone do it.

Very nice Kenny!
I just dug for 20 minutes trying to find pictures of my wife driving out 763 bobcat and cant find any. she loves to drive it but wont run it at WOT because she doesn't want to roll it, I told her its fun to roll them over but she doesn't listen :D
