Crumbling Dash!

That dash isn't that bad! I have fixed worst than that!

I'd sand the cracks to lower the raised crack lines and lay a single layer or 3/4 oz mat. Once it sets it would be sturdy enough to remove without further damage. After that flip it over once out and rough the back side with 40 grit and lay up atleast 2 layers of 1 1/2 oz mat. Once that kicks back to the top side sand the whole top down til smooth and flat and lay a single layer of 3 oz cloth. When that kicks sand over the whole thing with 40 grit just to remove any obvoius high spots and shoot it with a coat of high build primer. block it out and paint....

But...... If a better one could be found at the JY (junk yard) I would opt for it too. Or even update to a newer style dash...
