Cruise Control Not Working

I remember that my cruise control started acting up, then stopped working completely, about a month before my FSD meltdown (heatsink-mounted on upper plenum) which also took out my PCM.

The APP is eliminated from the equation when using cruise control.

I'm not sure, but mine is new. I have verified that it is sending the correct signals to the ECM also.

If there is an error code stored in the ECM due to the APP, will it cause the ECM to disable cruise control? Or can I rule this out 100% and know that it is my PMD/FSD that is the absolute cause of cruise not working? NEED TO GO HOOK UP WITH A TECH II SOON!

Not sure. There are some codes that will disable the cruise. You need to find out if you have any stored.

Finally bought a Flight Systems PMD and installed it. Cruise control is back. The old Stanadyne was installed 7 years ago. Cruise control quit 3-1/2 years ago, but the truck has not stalled once in that time. Oh well, that was $200 very well spent. Too bad I wasn't smart enough to spend it first!
