Couple of 6.5 Duallys for sale...

The '96 doesn't mention how many miles (how do you list a vehicle for sale and not list miles?), the '98 looks like it is in good shape for 188,000 miles.

Were you looking at these as a replacement for yours, or are you going to buy a Dodge?

Looking for a 1998 - 2004 Ext cab, 4X4 dodge, no dually...

Dang, that '96 looks clean.

Never owned a dually or had a need for one, but man do I want one!

Me too. For a while I was looking at dually's, but now I'm looking at an extended cab short bed, might go for it, I'm having trouble deciding. Long beds are so much more useful, but for towing and plowing the short bed is great, and I need the extended cab or crew cab for kids. In the end I decided that beyond looking good I really don't gain anything with the 2 extra wheels, just end up worse in snow, harder to park, lower mpg.

If you buying it cause of the kids,,, then get the crewcab, I sure wish I would of held off and got a crew instead of my Ex-cab 94 with no 3rd door blows! where i have my seat set at, my 2 young boys,, hardly have any foot room, in there car seats.

I bought my dually because It was a great priced utility body w/plow happened to be a C&C.

I'll tell you, its nice NEVER worrying about overloading the rig. They also turn like a dream with little to no roll what so ever, they just don't lean into corners. Wind never moves me, can't even feel standing water driving through it.

Pain to park, yup, MPG loss, yup. Sux when you have to deal with 6 tires, but load range E's I've never had a flat. If You do, you always have 2 spare tires with you :)

As far as suck in snow, well, they ARE designed to have weight on them. I do about 75% of my plowing in 2 wheel drive, with an additional 800lbs of ballast sand bags, on top of the already heavy pig. When I had the loaded sander on it weighing 22000lbs on 6 tires, I could tunnel through snowbanks in 2wd with the snow coming over the plow over the hood and up the windshield. :)(No lie)
