I'm planing on getting the Cognito leveling kit here in the next couple months. My problem is that it says to run a wheel with 4 5/8 BS. I just bought new rims at the end last Summer that are 4 1/2 BS. What sort of problems am I going to run into if I were to get the kit? I'm not about to go get rid of my new wheels.

I think the backspace limit is a maximum allowable amount. Less backspace should be fine. I considered getting the kit myself but the stock PYOs have too much backspace to fit without hitting.

Its a nice kit and well worth the money. Odd thing was that my tires did rub on occasion but not all the time.

Bank accounts don't like NCT, Wife's don't like us most of the time....BUT the person driving the truck will:thumbsup:

Nick got another question for ya. I'm thinking of hooking up to the sled this year. Would that be an issue with the leveling kit on?

Are you saying stock rims don't work with the cognito level kit?

That was what I was told by a Cognito vendor. I don't remember if it was Nor-Cal Nick or somebody else.

Stock wheels fit on a Cognito leveling.

The issue you face is tire width and back spacing. You goal is to install the nice wider tire but center it in-bound or out-bound to maximize tire rubbing clearance on the inside against the UCA or out-bound on the fender or bumper when turning.
