Classic GM

TD, for what it's worth, I sort of like the Jurassic Truck Park idea ... It's catchy.

I like the start, things can always be added as needed. To may sections and it is hard to find things. Performance section would be nice though. Glad to be on board, hey Turbine Doc, can we get my member number modified, SHEEEEZZZZ I don't want that number.

Ha!!!! You got stuck with it...u are #666 Im #664 :)

I kinda liked the idea someone had on the place "Detroit Alley" Dont remember who came up with it but I like it.

I just want to say "Thank You" to Tim, Kev, Jim and all the other mods along with teh dedicated users working hard to build this place! The overall site is a great place. Thanks for the ticket on the bus.

I would like "diesel revolutionary rebels-down with corporate poo-poo heads" -pardon the language-

With language like that, we're going to need to put a parental consent form on the main page! :ciappa:

I'm just throwing out ideas... I do like the ones already suggested too.

How about a place for swaps? Seems like the older rigs are always looking for swaps, with a lot of military rigs hitting the market there is a lot of interest in adding an overdrive tranny. And with a lot of older gas engines out there that get 10 mpg on a good day, there are some people that would like a repower with a 6.2/6.5.

I was talking to a guy yesterday, was insisting that the 6.2 was a converted gasser.... he's a ford guy though, lol

Hey guys we have been thinking on some changes round here, as some recently suggested they would like sub-groupings for older GM trucks like D-Max sections have, we were kicking these thoughts around back in early days of the site, I'm still kind of partial to the name Jurassic Park, as without dinosaurs such as the 5.7/6.2/6.5 no D-Max possible from lessons learned with the IDI engines D-Max would not exist IMO.

Some Mods and you know who you are , rib me-Jim & John as being the ring leaders of "short bus riders group" :nono: but that isn't as catchy as Jurassic Park, they also say we remind them of "science class professors", guess cause we are so smart :D, gotta be smart to own a 6.2/6.5 as they used to say on red & green show, "If the wimmin don't find you hansome, make sure they find you handy"
