i think i understood all the question but im not sure! i should have been working harder in school:D i hope this work for you guys!

Thanks alot!

Here are a few things to try that are easy & quick and will narrow down some things....

Loosen or remove the fuel tank cap...

There should be a "T" valve looking thing that should be located around the thermostat area, this is the fuel bleeder valve, with the motor running open the valve, should drain down the front of motor via tube, any fuel coming out?? This is connected in the fuel return side of the system...

The next time it won't start hot, pour cold water right on the IP, a gallon or so, see if it will crank, if so, IP will need checking.

I thought that was for a DB pump that the head/rotor was getting worn and was hard to make pop pressure starting with hot fuel???

Its always good to verify the lift pump is working with T valve test though.

I didn't want to jump right to PMD but it is does have very different ways of failing or causing problems.

3] PMD / IP Issues
3a] Location of PMD (on pump, on intake, remote mounted) ___________
3b] Condition of Extension harness (if used) Vendor or Homemade? _________home made
3c] Condition of grounds / ground wires to IP / PMD. Check Harness. _________good
3d] PMD Make: ___________
3e] PMD Age: _____________

I would unplug it and replug it in and see if that makes it start up immediately after a crank but no startup.

hello guys thank for all the answers. i spoke to a guy in my town who only work with american trucks. he said the diesel pump is broken, the car only starts cold. yesterday i tryd to start the car after work and the car was standing in the sun all day, it was about 30c outside all day. and the car did not start i tryd everything. but this morning when i came to work it started right away. so ill probably change the pump and restore the engien. do you guys know any american site who sells good parts? ill ship it over to sweden

The engiene start when i pull cold water in to the FSD cooler. But after like 5 minutes it sounds like someone stept the foot on the gas pedal and the engiene died and it came black smoke aswell

I would try swapping a new fsd before condemning the injector pump. If you do not have a good spare, this is the perfect time to buy one. A spare fsd for these engines is like a spare tire- you should always have one with you.

Your Pump could be bad, but know tha that is the #1 misdiagnoses of these engines.

In addition to Will L. suggestion, you may want to do sctrailrider suggestion also.

Will L. will confirm that the PMD is bad.

Sc's will make sure that the LP and OPS (which control the LP when engine is running) to be good or bad.

hello guys i change the fsd or pdm pump or what it's called :D and the car works just fine! i also bought an extension so ill be mounting it underneath the grill or right next to the licenseplates.

Thanks alot for the help everyone! :D

Good to hear you are driving it again. Checkout Leroy's Diesel for the extension cable and a spare pmd/fsd (same thing different name). Sometimes they will last for years, sometimes one will go bad in a couple days. The only way to diagnose it is replace with a known good one.

Read through the "stickys" here and you will learn a lot of good things.
