I need to vote more than once...

I owned a 94 and a 95. Both were k1500's with 's' engines. They were identical drivetrains.

One had a cat and one didn't. Even said so on the emissions sticker on the fan shroud. One said 'catalyst' and one said 'non-catalyst'. Can't remember which was which now though....

Every 94 and later truck I ever saw had a cat, just the HD2500 and 3500 vin"F" engines didn't have EGR. The LD2500 and 1500 vin"S" engines had both EGR and cat.

My 92 HD2500 and 93 3500 had neither, both vin"F". My 94 HD2500 had a cat and no EGR, vin"F". My other 94, LD2500(might as well be a half ton, 6 hole wheels) has cat and EGR, vin"S". My buddies 94 3500 had a cat also from the factory.

Which ones did you add to the poll, and how many of each to I need to adjust vote countr for ?

I have a 98 CCLB SRW came with cat but no EGR. May I ask what the big deal with this is though? Just wondering

98 sub k2500hd has original exhaust with a cat and no egr, 95 k2500hd no cat no egr but aftermarket exhaust from previous owner. Vote worked for both!

Mine have a cat originally but it is long gone. I have replaced it with Warpspeed exhaust.

CCLB is 3500 in our vintage of trucks. Sig. is good to have, though

I didn't vote since as far as I know none of the 92-93 6.5 trucks had a cat, thought it might be an unfair vote. Anyway my trucks from factory have,

92 2500HD vin"F"- no cat (3" pipe)
93 3500HD vin"F"- no cat (2.75" pipe)
94 2500LD vin"S"- cat
94 2500HD vin"F"- cat (2.75" pipe)

Just throwed the pipe sizes in there, thought it was interesting the 92 had factory 3" pipe. When I straight piped my 94 I just slid 3" pipe over the old and welded/clamped it, the 92 I had to stretch the 3" to fit.

My burb had/has one. I'll let you guess as to whether or not it is functional tho My burb is a 1500, but has 8 lug wheels and has 2500 emblems. Came that way from the factory. Emissions sticker says catalyst on it.

every one i worked on or own had a cat or had it removed,all of them 2500 F or S and dually 3500's

This is year dependent and could be location dependent as well: Federal or CA emissions.

I need to vote twice as both my 2500's 1993 did not have a cat from the factory and one is CA emissions.
