I will add this,

I have changed this bearing twice now in under 4 years.

Once in the parking lot of Advanced Auto, and once in my driveway.

I have never used a press of any sort.

I'm sure I'm doing it wrong, but if its working, then so be it.

I just changed mine a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't get it off the shaft at all. Not even close, with all the hammering, banging etc. I had to take it to a shop and they had to air chisil it off.
