Hello all, thanks for sharing the knowledge. I appreciate the support and articles here. I am a new owner of a 2001 GMC Savanna 3500 with the 6.5l turbo diesel and 4L80e Trans. i have 300k on her, and she is in decent condition. I read about Damper issues, PMD and upgrading battery cables and grounds. I need to learn where all these things are located or maybe a good FSM if anyone knows where to get such things. I have lots of experience with Gasoline engines, but am new to the high pressure fuel and awesomeness of Diesel power. I love the turbos, the WVO or SVO options and the torque of the diesel world.

Ebay has FSM's for sell all the time, the technical library in the 6.5 section has the info you mentioned.
