Buy Cables and GP Harness get 10 percent off

Rusty and the rest of the team were already in Alabama. Dave Stremme was there doing some stuff. I didn't ask as I try very hard not to do the "Oh Look its someonefamousIreallyjustsowant2impress, I'm your biggest fan" thing. I did get to meet Antron Brown, Tony Schumacher and watch the 4 wide runs at the church of thunder in Charlotte though. Picked up a fuel pressure gauge from the onsite vendors as well. Very good trip but the high point was meeting Bruce and seeing some of his inovations on his truck. We have a tremendous asset here gentlemen one who is willing to share his talents. I really liked the Racor Filter set up he concieved and using brakelines to replace the vac control for his waste gate and relocating the solenoid to the turbo-intake brace point (brace still in place too).
Yes, being in the car building proffesion sertainly allows ones creativity streak to manifest itself outside the shop. He's also been at this trade either as a hobby at home and/or for income for more than a couple of decades. Thanks again for the time.

Just met up with Paveltolz to grab the GP harness he picked up for me. I also saw the battery cables that he picked up.

I'm impressed all around. This is good quality stuff. I'll definitely be picking up a set of battery cables when funds permit.

One question. Could you make an Engine to Frame ground as well? It would be nice to have a 0/2 wire for that ground, as well. Just a thought.

Im not sure if you would need a 2/0 Engine to frame ground But if you want 1 I would be more than Happy to make you one Thanks again for your purchase...Bruce

Installed the battery cable kit today. Man, that was entertaining. Not being one to work on these things enough to develop muscle memory skills everything takes a little longer.
One doesn't fully appreciate the differences between 4 gauge and 0 gauge until you try to put the starter cable on with the starter still attached to the truck, the OEM glow plug wires in their looms getting in the road and then there's the fat fingers i got to keep things 'real' I got it on, albeit 180 degrees off at the starter. Truck spins right up and the volt meter reads a little over 14v now instead of under 14v.

Fantastic kit, great workmanship as has been stated and I'm very happy to have made the investment.
I'm hanging on to the old cables just in case, as is my luck, someone wrecks me or the motor decides to let go. No junk yard is getting these babies like they just did with my Jetta.
Here's a couple of pictures before putting humpty dumpty fully back together.

I'm going for a short run to get the fun out of the HID headlights I put in while I had things apart. :hihi:HID lights.jpg
