Buy Cables and GP Harness get 10 percent off

Im not sure how to reply to that, I guess go and price everything that I have into them and then get back to me an tell me where im high on my price, Keep in mind that these arnt made out of cheap wire you buy at the autoparts store, It is all GSX grade high temp oil resistant Mil spec Wire

can one route the battery crossover the way the factory did? I prefer that way. also, can you show, or at least describe, how each set of cables is routed, and why it is better routing than factory? no rush, as I wont be buying anytime soon, but probably will be buying eventually.

also, what is the made in USA content of each kit?

Crazy question - but if you are going to use red cable at all - why not make the crossover cable red as well??

I made the Crossover Black just so it doesnt look out of place on the Fan shroud, I put red Heat Shrink on the ends for identity

Yes you can put the crossover in the stock position But the factory clips won't work as they are too small, as far as the routing mainly it is the Starter cable instead of going thru the frame clamp it just goes up to the batterymore direct and I have put 12" of Heat Shield on that cable where it runs under the Exhaust manifold its not that close to it but I feel better with it there, as far as I know everthing in the Kit is US made

I purchased RaceDay's glow plug harness off ebay just a couple of weeks back, they are very high quality and an improvement over factory. I could not have made a "one off" glow plug harness of this quality for less money, especially if you factor in the time to make it and source parts. Currently I am saving for the battery cable upgrade and look forward to installing them soon.

These pieces look very beefy and of high quality. Well thought out, and put together with precision. Always remember, you get what you pay for. ;)

I'm sure you make quality stuff.
I just thought it was a pretty steep price for batt cables compared to what i pay on the rol for welding cable(IMO not much tougher than that) and home build them.
But then,i'm a self proclaimed cheapskate.:agreed:

Actually Welding cable is not the Best choice for Diesel truck use, the jacket is Not oil Resistant and as the Jacket is soft it will wear through quickly, the wire strands are fine and will break with vibration

I ain't gonna argue about your material not being the best avalable,i believe ye.
But in my experience a flexable cable has withstood vibration better than a stiff one and our 6.5 engines do not behave exacly like a jack hammer either.
Beside that if you're getting that much oil on the batt cables that the jacket swells or disolves you got other problems to worry about.;)

I hope you sell lots,i just won't be one of your buyers.
I'm a cheapskate remember :)
:cheers2:

I skipped a few meals on my last couple of trips so save up for the set. Drove over to meet Bruce, got the tour of the build shops (yes, shops), got to see his truck first hand (that new Walbro sure lets you know its working!) and picked up cables. WOW, I had know idea anyone could get what seems like suspension bridge cables and use them for our trucks. J/K.
Excellent workmanship and very well thought out, but then again, I also got to see a lot of his work and the craftsmanship translates to everything he does.

Thanks Bruce, it was pleasure to meet you and your co-workers.

Is their any differences in the glow plug harness for the 82+ older body style of trucks?

I'd like to have a nice harness for myself, i could probably make it but wiring drives me nuts LOL

By the time you figure out what you need, take the time to go and buy it, use your fuel, and anything else necessary to make it, you might as well just buy the kit already pre-designed and pre-made by a member who specializes in electrical wiring! ;) And it looks like a fine kit I might add.

Thanks for the Kind words Guys, It was great to meet Paul Friday, anyone of you that are gonna be in the Charlotte area PM me and Ill Take you thru RWR shops, No purchase Required, But they are appreciated
