Burbanitis A momentary lapse of sanity

Yes, I guess it's true. I have two diesel Suburbans...one is full-size, the other is a 'mini', that's 3 ft. shorter.

My name is Rob and I'm an addict.

-Rob :)

I parked my 6.5 warming up in front of tavern and could hear it inside an when the crowd was leaving I was proud of my slight turbo whistle onwarmup .This thing is pretty stock and will burn tires and sound wicked good doing it!! If it werent mine I would be jealous! I toowould like a burb but have been told no by wifey. Finances require a sale of it but now I am thinking of keeping it again and suffering I looked so long for a K1500

I must be an addict. I,m on this site 4x a day most everyday of the week. I,m sure for a while the wife thought it was a porn site . Way better than porn .

it sold for 1375, I talked myself out of it.....

I almost bid on it. I tried to talk a friend into it. I have the bug. I scan craigslist constantly.

I want a tahoe for the right price... and I would give home to another burb 4x4, preferably 3.43/1500.

Oh, I would love to have a 1500 as well. :)

yeah, that thing would have been a perfect people transporter, it had 3.42s, and the less stiff 1500 suspension, yet, in true burb unique-ness, it was still f-code.

do you guys think that that close to the coast, sea water related rust may have been an issue?

I bought a 78 mustang that had spent its whole life on the beach when I was in high school (so it was 12 years old). No rust.

I bet it was clean. Man... would have, should have, could have!

I can tell you that being in a colder climate, the amount of road salt that is being thrown underneath the truck is un-believable. I have found that with a little bit of care like rustproofing and keeping the truck clean goes a long way in helping it to fight rust.
