That's a good point, that I never thought of. I forgot to add, when I had bugs in my fuel the slime was quite a bit darker but the results were the same.

I apologize for all the posts on this, guys. I should have put it in one. I forgot to mention, since I had bug problems at least 5 years ago, I have been poisoning my fuel ever since. I feel it's cheap insurance. The only thing wrong with this is that I have to make it a point to not come in TOO much contact with the fuel, once it's treated.

The marine store is a good idea, thanks for posting up.
Ruined another fuel pump screen with a new tank. Figure the fuel line had junk in it. Still adding biocide and diesel system cleaner. Will check again in a week and see how things are doing. Fuel filter is fine though.
