Brake Pad Brand

I ended up going with the Gold C-max from Autozone. The biggest factor in the choice was that there's an Autozone on the way to work and I'm doing a 6 hour tow this weekend. The thought of doing that with bad brakes troubled me otherwise I'd have investigated further. I wanted to avoid bad choices but don't view a brake choice the same as getting a tattoo or married. I only paid 60 bucks with tax...for the brake pads.

I went to the auto hobby shop to put it on a lift. The bad news is my front end is getting sloppy. I can wiggle the tires a little bit. Tire wear is normal so I think my alignment is good and keeping the front end from walking around. I'll rebuild the whole front end next year and throw a new set of shoes on it then.

The biggest pain was getting the old seals out. My rotors were surprisingly good so I didn't turn 'em. Consequently, they feel like they're seating a bit but I bet they're well bedded after the tow this weekend.

the carbon fiber metallic are not duralsat brand but have a life time warranty ill do some research to find the brand

No life time warranty, only two year.........the duralast gold have the life time warranty.....The material (Lining) description seem to be the same, also the PFC brand seem to be the most expensive at $100.00.

Maybe "you get what what you pay for" in this instance?
