Borg Warner T-Case Leaks when parked nose down

Also make sure the washer is there in between the yoke and nut. I've seen that washer get lkeft out and the nut will bottom out and not tighten up and leave you with that slack your talking about.

I can remember seeing the washer. Havn't had a chance to get under there today. Hopefully tomorrow.

Apparently there is the flat washer, then a rubber sealing washer behind it. I now have more than enough info about my situation, and now I'm waiting on myself. Can't beat this forum. Thanks a ton guys.

Update.

The nut was very easy to tighten by wratchet, I gave it a quick zap with my weak/cheap impact gun. It has green threadsealer on it. It went a few turns (by hand) then I gave it the quick zap that maybe gave it another 90. Hitting it with compressed air, did not give me the dryness I was expecting, but I did not see leak either. Parked it nose down for a few minutes on a road and did not see leak. I will see what happens next time I have to park nose down. It really doesn't look wet where it bolts to the tranny, but didn't look perfectly dry either on the corner by the front output shaft. Could be fly off though.

Yoke is defanately tight to the bolt now.

Thanks again for all the information, I learned alot about another part of my truck thanks to you guys. If it leaks from there again, (washer area) i'll unscrew it and make sure the rubber washer is there. I wasn't setup to take a fluid bath today. Hopefully problem is as simple as that.
