Block heater buzzing

I hate smart anything. LOL. I have trouble even answering my flancy new smart phone. I'm missing my old flipper
I am with you there. Regular computer also and It kills me at work. Everyone around me is super tech savy- half like that is their job and they are guys that do really advanced stuff.
They explain stuff to me and have to use old electrical terms for me to follow what their program is doing.

Besides a couple forums and videos - I would still prefer old flip phone.

I needed to go to the lumber store to get some sheetrock fro My son. A story for a different thread. 😹😹😹
Before I fired up the engine, popped open the hood, felt the intake manifold area near the crossover, nice and toasty warm to the touch.
Truck fired right up.
I did however note that the volt meter is running a but high. I suppose it is once again time to clean battery cables. 🤷‍♂️😹😹😹

@NVW
Did You need to do something special, or different with the right side block heater cord ?
It seems to Me that the frost plug in that side is directly under the engine mounting.
I will eventually be installing new mounts on My truck and while it is apart I might as well add a heater to the right side too.
Just trying to get a visual of any possible complications in advance, long as We are on the subject of block heaters.

Yes, it can't go in the center hole, I would have to look to see if it is the frt or bk

Okay. I had eyeballed that center frosting plug, now quite happy that I didnt pry that unit out of there and attempt installing a heater.
IIRC, the KATS site does not list an alternate hole to poke one into.
I have been in those situations before so its just a matter of having the engine on a stand, all the freeze plugs removed and eyeball the other bores to see which ones have clearance enough to fit in a heater.

iirc the freeze plug directly behind the rear starter bracket is the only place accessable to install a second block heater. starter and the bracket would have to be pulled to get it in there. but idk if the plug would interfere with the bracket mounting.
