Best way to lift my truck?

Wow. I stand way corrected if that is for real. Thats completely unbelieveable.

How much for a lift of that sort?

The fleet maintence garage at work has one of those. It picks up an entire fire engine.
BTW No one has noticed that DD has a 3/4 truck. 8 lug makes choices very very limiting. The only company to my knowledge that makes a kit for the 2500HD and 3500 is RCD suspension and it's about 1600$. I'm still thinking body lift and mods because the body lifts are not made for diesel version of our trucks. My issue with body lift is it weakens the bed and i carry alot of weight ...but a dump unit under the bed would raise the bed to meet the lifted cab..of course that adds up to more than the suspension lift..Doh...:mad2::D
My curiousity about a body lift would be any addtion room created for an intercooler..Course i thin the old rag needs a headgasket right now so I'm thinking about just crushing it with a 980C and calling the insurance co ...nah...I guess I'll fix it.

just to update and ask a question, I cranked the bars up and got about 1 and 3/4 inches of extra height in the front, and I put some blocks in the rear. Truck looks way better but I took it in today to get an alignment and the shop says they cannot get it re-aligned. They say they are going to have to "hog" out the camber stamp or I will have to lower it back down. Has anyone else had this problem?

The camber stamps are "knock outs" put in at the factory to lock in the factory alignment. When you crank the bars, you get negative camber and the only way to get your camber set is to knock out the stamps. This is very common on the first alignment. Is this the first time you have had the truck aligned?

Ya it is the first time, I just picked the truck up about an hour ago though and they were able to "hog" it out and get it into alignment. I will post some pics of the new height soon hopefully. Thanks for all the help.
