Battery draw

Update finally got time to work on my truck!! I found a nick in the wire that comes from the positive battery cable I think it’s a 10 gauge wire that’s splits off the large starter cable to the firewall junction block. I cut the wire at the battery terminal and disconnected it from the junction block and pulled it out. Inspection of the wire I found a very small nick in the wire. I slipped a piece of heat shrink on it. I then routed back the wire the same way. ALL GOOD 😁

Thinking further on the wire you found, that supplied power to the alternator and the cab. double check your alternator for a power draw and if it's still working. even if it was randomly arking and or shorting to ground, it could have damaged the internal regulator in the alternator.
