When I first lifted my truck I had the Mickey Thompson ATZ's on it.. long story short, 4 wheel parts replaced all 4 because the tread pattern had changed and I would have non matching tires because they determined two to be bad.

Now, went for an alignement and figured out I have a bad tire AGAIN. Of course, they are close to 3 years old now and no way I'm getting any kind of warranty. They may have 20K miles on them..

Point of the story, don't buy these tires. I love the look, but the noise and the ride just isn't there.

I'm looking at the Toyo AT 2's right now to replace them.

If it's a tire defect, then the manufacturer should at least replace the defective tire. I know MICHELIN will replace at no cost any defective tire that is less than 6 years old from date of purchase, so it may be worth your time to contact the manufacturer about it.

Mickey Thompson is made by cooper but I will admit I had 1 atz get a knot at about 20k deemed impact puncture. Got a tread wear based buy back on that one and bought a 2nd match ATZ P3. By the time the first 2 atz's rolled 70k they should have been long gone but I pushed them to 80k and the were bouncing BAD, cords were showing in odd patterns lol. Then I had a P3 fail from an impact puncture, Ok 60k of towing off road so I wont gripe, threw the spare atz (from the first failure) on and wore the other P3 to the cords in another 10k.

Now I have cooper stt max out back and at3 up front.

I still haven't bought new tires yet. The quote I had was around $1800 with an alignment..

I can buy them online for $1550 but buy the time I pay to have an alignment and the charge to mount and balance, the price difference isn't that much. Plus, buying tires online scares me.. what if I have warranty problems? It's easy for the online seller to wave you off since you have no way to consult with them in person.
