Bad ride yesterday

Well, that sucks:cryin: Please don't blame the bike, or I'm going to start blaming my keyboard for my misspelled words.:frown5:

I read a while back, that a lot of military guys are coming home from the war and buying sportbikes, just to get some thrill. Most are crashing and a lot are dieing from the crashes. It's not the bike, it's simply the inexperiance and lack of respect for the machine.
I agree, it isn't the bike's fault, it is the rider and inexperience that is the problem, I will agree with Berk tho, The Goverment needs to stay out of this and let the insurance folks deal with it, As time goes by it is going to get expensive to insure a bike, this will hurt the Noobs hard as well as some seasoned riders, The accident occured on a divided 4 lane hiway, posted speed is 60 mph, he was showing off in front of his Dad and there isn't anything the Dad can do.....20 something young man who thinks he can ride a bullet to hell and survive. When my son wanted a bike, I co signed for him Ninja 650, small enough to throttle out of trouble and hopefully he doesn't speed so that he will get into trouble, he has seen the aftermath of stupidity and I hope the keeps the fear.

The 600 I co-signed for my son was rated at 160 mph....I am so glad he sold it.
