I am asking here because this is where the ATT was born.
Would an ATT work on an 90 N/A 7.3L ford?

"If you put lipstick on a pig, its still a pig."
Found that out in the morning did we?
the truck belongs to an Oregonian.......
I had an '89 Ford 7.3 without factory turbo and it was a pig. I bought the HyperMax turbo kit, which is a non-wastegated turbo similiar to the ATT and it was like driving a new truck. We go to Ft Bragg CA each summer and the grades between Clear Lake and Willits used to have the truck bogged down to about 25mph in 2nd gear (5 sp tranny). With the Hypermax, I could acclerate up those grades at any time I wanted. Amazing difference! I sold the Ford because of the 5sp, it was nothing but work towing with the "gear rower". Wife didn't like the "primitiveness" of the '89's interior either. After towing with my '99 6.5, I wish I'd kept the Ford as it had lots more power and NO cooling issues.
DB4 very similiar to what is on the 6.2/6.5's. It is actually a bigger pump in all regards. They have a redline of 3300, but pull best when you keep em under about 2700-2800.
Interesting how all this pans out. Towing my 25' travel trailer, the '89 Ford could run circles around my '99 6.5L with the AC running to boot. The 6.5L is a much more comfortable ride for long trips but even after doing thousands of dollars in mods, it still just isn't the towing machine the 7.3IDI was. I'm hoping a new radiator and ATT will liven it up.
