ATT for christmas

I hope Santa can get you an A-Team Turbo in time for Christmas. He may not have time to wrap it... may have to stuff it your stocking... better put up your stockings with some real nails this year.

I have had two of these turbos for some time now, feel like I'm kindof a turbo pig or something. I was hoping to have at least one installed by Christmas (this year that is)!!

I got mine for Christmas last year and had to wait to install it due to shoulder surgery. If I had known how happy I would be with it, I would have installed it with my feet.

Create a 6.5 forum list of scanner owners?

After seeing Coalroller's post, I wonder about creating a list of scanner owners & their location - as a sticky?

Obviously it would be completely optional for a member owning a scan tool/software to choose to add their name/location to the list.

Anybody have any thoughts on if this is a good/bad idea, etc.?

I know if the timing/meeting up, etc., can be worked out reasonably, I'm usually happy to scan somebody local's OBDI truck w/ my copy of GMTDScan Tech.

Well if a ATT makes a 6.5 that much louder I think I will be jumping on this train very soon... My 4" straight pipe aint loud enough!

Since we're all talking noise levels... Lets just suppose you had a stock crossover pipe, KD's 3" dia. downpipe/3.5" dia. tailpipe & straight thru muffler, and you had a '93 so you found and gutted a cat to 3.5" dia. and put the cross holes in the pipe inside the cat can. This has a very nice tone and isn't completely obnoxious with a gmx turbo. So I'm curious if anyone have this arrangement with an ATT? Or if you don't, do you think this would be too loud for a family truckster type suburban? You have to keep in mind the noise has a lot to do with the go pedal position as well as the amount of plow, so if you were just "commuting" it would be somewhat stealthy... of course until you hit the go pedal.

How loud is it compared to a straight piped cummins or duramax. Ik the cummins sounds lyk a tractor or semi and a duramax somewhat lyk a jet lol

a kid at my school has a straight piped dmax. we leave at the same time and i get to hear that thing start up and spool that turbo. too bad his dad bought it for him and he has no idea about what type of vehicle he is driving. it would be cool to talk to him about it

lol we got a kid that drives one around here floors the thing at every stop sign. One night he drove past my friends house at midnight ( his house is bout 75 yards off the road) and woke his dad up lol he seriously thought it was a jet flying over for a minute.

The ATT would not be comfortable for a family ride with just a resonator of sorts. Wouldnt even be good with a single straight thru muffler. For a family ride I would find a baffled muffler with the ATT, or use a couple 4" straight thrus and run the pipe out the back stock location.

i just ordered my ATT on wed i hope i can get it before x mas... as far as noise it cant be any worse then my old 98 dodge with the v10 straight piped no cats can it???

Even with a single straight thru muffler, it was louder than my old F100 dual straight piped 302. But I have the Aeroexhaust mufflers which aren't known for much muffling.
