just installed a Shelf it Kit in my truck. Regardless of their claim of "Guaranteed to fit your truck" it took 3 hours and major modification to install it. Had to cut 6" of the end of it!!! Anyhow, I installed my CB today. Got the power wire ran and plugged in and the antenna wire ran back down to the fire wall. I can't decide on where to mount the antenna. I can't go on top of cab because of low garage door. Any ideas? Pictures will be worth a thousand words!

Something like my foldover mount or a removable mag mount. I'd get a breedlove mount if I were to do it again; http://bellsouthpwp.net/b/r/breedlove1/

Wilson lil will or a wilson 1000 are good choices for mag units.
