Anyone ever remove the tow hooks and install lights?

I was thinking about installing two driving lights in the factory tow hook position. Anyone ever done this or seen this done? Downsides besides not have a tow hook?

It is probably doable, but I like driving lights set up higher for better illumination at distances. Fog lights are better set down low.

Thanks. I was just trying to make them sleek. I guess I can mount them behind the grille but not sure how much I really like that look either.
