anybody have to do this?

Are there any modifications that could be made to the air box that would make a 2nd rework much easier?

I'm looking at having to do this on the 94 dually very soon.

I've cleaned an evap in a 93 before by removing the blower motor and then hooking a 5/8 inch hose onto my shop vac and reaching in and sucking all the leaves out. I know you can get A/C coil cleaner that isn't acid based and rinses itself off when you turn the A/C on. Then you drill a small hole in the top of the evap box after vacuuming it out and spray it down with a straw tip on it. Let it soak for about 15 minutes and turn the air on low for about 20 minutes and it will rinse a large portion of it off. It won't be as good as pulling it out, but it will sure help a bunch.

Yes, I can verify, its no fun!

I was able to leave the steering column in, as Turbine Doc said. Still an all day sucker!

This is how I learn, jump in, do it, and hopefully learn some stuff along the way. I'm not always used to having someone to ask.
