New guy here. Checking in for the great state of IL. Were our former goveners make our license plates.:mad2:

Been a truck driver for about 24 yrs now. So no stranger to the fuel. Just the trucks change and get more complacated. Have a 91 chevy 6.2 been a great truck never left me walking for 10 years now. Just up graded to a 94 6.5 TD hope it is just as great as the old truck. I also have a 90 turbo Mitisbishi that has gave me alot of experince with turbo charged engines.
I have been doing alot of reading on this site just to get some education. I realy like how this site is layed out and ran. It is a big diffrence from the Mitsibishi form were there is nothing but kids blowing up there cars and wondering why it happend. Being 45 myself its nice to see a more mature membership.
Thanks for the opertunity to learn and hopfully contribute to your comunity.

The name "Snot Rocket" came from the car color. I bought it painted that way. So don't blame me if you don't like it.

Welcome to TTS!

With the 94 read up on PMD relocation to improve reliability. www.pmdcable.com has a relocation kit and is a site vendor.

PMD was already relocated by a previous owner. Also acording to the sticker on the IP it's a 08 IP.
When I took it for a test drive it was fish bite and no turbo. The last owner of the truck only had it for a year. I asked him when was the last time the fuel filter was changed. He said he never changed it. Picked up a new filter on the way home with it. Since then I found the vaccum pump was not working. Replaced it now the turbo works. Now it looks like the oil presure switch may be bad as the LP is not turning on by itself. Got it on a switch for now until I can pick up a new one. Other than those small isues it is a good solid and tight truck.
