Air conditioning delete pulley for 94

Lmc only has the ac delete listed for the 4.3 v6. I just put a new clutch bearing in and cut the lines off and removed the condensor. I was thinking the same thing, get rid of the pump. I didn't want to buy the ac delete from the stealer.

If it bolts onto a 4.3, it will bolt onto a small block as well. The 4.3 is a 350/5.7 missing two middle cylinders. All the external bolt holes are the same.

Clutch bearing, eh? Where did you get this at? Approximate cost?

Im a slow learner  I am going to go out and compare my 89 350 to my 94 6.5 and see if they look at all the same just for giggles

Rockauto $24.79 They call it: a/c compressor clutch bearing. BCA/National #907257. The one I recieved wasn't a bca/national but it worked. I can get the other number if I still have the box.
To get to the bearing you 1st need to take the nut off the compressor shaft then use a a/c clutch puller to remove the outer face pice. Then remove the snap ring that holds the pulley on the compressor. The bearing must be pushed out the front of the pulley. It will move a little hard because it is retained by several center punch divets around the edge.
Press the new bearing in and booger it up the same as it was with a center punch. You will need the a/c clutch installer to put the outer piece back on. Fairly easy job. You have to have the puller and installer.
Bearing dimentions: BCA/NAtional 907257 Bore 1.5743 OD 2.4411 Width .812

Well I ended up tracing part numbers and figured out that a delete pulley from a 94 gasser V8 would work. Got in bolted up and works great. Just under 30 dollors from summit..

RNB-34152
Used the same belt. I am running the belt for a 1993 non vaccum pump 6.5...
