Advice?? Would you buy this?

They are? How? Not that I'd do that...

I've wondered the same things about vehicles, but you can usually tell by seats/ride confort/tightness...

It'll feel loose and sloppy if its way higher than 75k (150 or 175k).

If it feels loose and sloppy don't buy it either way..

If its tight and looks like 75k, buy it either way... (for the right price)..

If you want comparison, I bought my truck 3 years ago with a 9' Plow for $6500, its not in mint shape at all, and utility body was rusty...

My truck had 83k miles. IF i remember right they asked 7, I said 6 setteled at 6.5 ..

I always thought I got good deal as bank valuated it over 10k.

aaaaah. I see. Prices are still higher her than in the U.S. Many people are still going south to pick up their new ride. I've got 2 uncles that bought new Dodge diesel's this year and still saved about $15,000 per unit.

It's only a matter of time before prices fall out here to remain competitive. Mind you, this is for our Manitoba vehicle market. I don't know how the other Provinces are.

BC is the same way...I live 12km from the border and our local Canadian tire always has US bought vehicles in for RIV inspection. When I buy my Porsche in the fall it will be in the USA...About 1/3 cheaper. 4-5 years ago you could not buy a used deisel pick-up in BC as they all went to the USA because the US dollar was higher...

Same here...Business Manager at the local Chevy dealer is not to happy about it, as there are a lot of Canucks buying south of the border.

Well i drove the truck again and found lots of other things wrong with it. (doesn't seem like the mileage is correct????) So i offered 6K and left. They are gonna get back to me on Monday. But even if they accept my offer i am not gonna buy that truck.(thought about it for a day or two) I just gave a verbal offer so nothing binding.
Thanks for all of the advice though! I am going to look at a different one this afternoon(2000- 3500 DRW 4x4) I can use the advice everyone gave me on that one.
Thanks.....................Brian
